The Hotel Management course at Bhaddal Campus is fully dedicated to produce future leaders and managers for Hospitality industries and Hotels, as well as to meet students with knowledge and skills pertaining to operational and administrative functions, team building, strategic planning, profit improvements, quality improvements and effective integration of technology into the industry. The Hotel Management graduate students may pursue a career in the operational level in multinational hotel chains, motels, railway catering, tourism department, airlines industry, armed forces, cruise lines as well as in academics also.
Apart from theoretical knowledge, emphasis is given on their practical exposure as per the requirement of the industry. Our Hotel Management Department is well- equipped with well advanced infrastructure to develop its students to complete in the Tourism & Hospitality sector.
INFRASTRUCTURE: Apart from theoretical knowledge, emphasis is given on their practical exposure to the industry. To fulfill the requirements, B.Sc.-HMCT is well-equipped with well advanced infrastructure for complete 360-degree development.
BASIC TRAINING KITCHEN LAB: Basic training Kitchen is fully equipped with modern catering equipment and appliances. This kitchen is used primarily to introduce the culinary skills to the students and it is the launching pad for the new comers.
BAKERY & CONFECTIONERY: This huge lab takes care of all Baking and Confectionery requirements of the syllabus. Students produce the most exquisite breads, cakes, chocolates, pastries & desserts etc.
RESTAURANTS & BAR: We have fully equipped “Training Bar & Restaurant” to provide live experience of working in hospitality industry with better skill. We provide latest techniques of service at par with the industry. Training of buffets, banquets, gueridon services, etc. are provided in these labs.
HOUSE KEEPING LAB: The institute also provides the students with modern guest rooms training on up keep and decoration to train them with latest equipments to provide efficient skill in linen managements, laundry, guest supplies, use of chemicals, abrasives, accommodation upkeep and other related jobs.
FRONT OFFICE: To make the learning easier for the students. The Front Office lab with well decorated reception area, Guest reservation & Registration Desk, Ball Desk, Travel Desk & a big Lobby. In this lab the students are trained for receiving information, billing, and guest registration and guest relation. In addition, emphasis is laid on communication skills, social skills and handling of different type of situations.
COMPUTER PRACTICAL LAB : The computer lab is fully equipped and latest software being used in the hospitality sectors are available. The computers are connected with laser printer, internet access and multimedia devices making our students easy to work in professional environment.
LIBRARY: We have more than 2200 books available in our library on all subjects including journals, magazine and news papers on hospitality and tourism management. Apart from these books we also have books on fine arts humanities, POM, HRD, Sports and Grammar.
